25.01.2022 A great feature interview with Annabelle McIntyre by World Rowing.

25.01.2022 A large project FRC undertook in 2018/19 was our gym expansion. Moving from a small gym area where we often ran out of space, equipment & weight plates (see photo attached). We eventually moved into our club hall, which has been invaluable in providing our athletes access to a full range of Strength & Conditioning equipment to help with their on water success. Many thanks to all the club volunteers who pulled together to make this possible.

23.01.2022 3hrs down, 21hrs to go! You can show your support by coming down to SYC or by donating via our go fund me, link below. https://gofund.me/7de8d083

14.01.2022 **IMPORTANT CLUB UPDATE** The FRC committee has recently met to dicuss the club's response to the COVID-19 outbreak. There were many factors to consider when developing an action plan and difficult decisions have been made after careful consideration and discussion. As a community organisation we need to consider the health and well-being of our members, licensees, and community, including the wider rowing community and the Western Australian community in general. The Covi...d-19 situation is uncertain and developing so rapidly that plans are obsolete in hours, and as such our policy is focused on being proactive enough to deal with not only what is happening today, but what will happen tomorrow, next week, and next month. As such the shed and the gym will be closing for four weeks as of Friday the 20th for the shed and Sunday the 22nd for the gym. The club will continue on, with programs sent to active members to continue training away from the shed, and gym memberships put on pause ready to resume when the gym reopens. I would like to thank all the members of our community for their support and understanding, and remind everyone that as a Club we will Pull Together through this. This will be a challenging time, please look out for each other, and yourself, stay healthy, and stay connected. Peter Holliday FRC President
