18.01.2022 We've been caught in this weeks lockdown so sadly the "Borders and Boundaries" Writers Block won't go ahead on Thursday night. Watch this space though - we are looking at rescheduling as soon as possible and in the meantime - more rich songwriting opportunities for our acts!

07.01.2022 In just 2 weeks the Fremantle Writers Block returns to Clancys Fremantle bringing with it one of the most unique themed shows yet - Daves of our Lives. Everyone has come across one of Fremantle’s musical Daves at some point. They seem to be omnipresent - here a Dave, there a Dave...performing, songwriting, mixing, playing cool guitar or sax licks. Statistics show that between them, Daves amassed more gigs than any other named Freo artists for the last 5 years running. Now you can see many of Fremantle’s finest ‘Daves’ together at one venue on one night, playing songs round robin style, then coming together in an unforgettable 6-Dave jam to finish the night. In these trying COVID times with our venues recovering, we have had to introduce a modest door charge of $10. At just $1.66 per Dave we think that’s pretty good value!
