16.01.2022 Must not forget the very handsome Archie, who is in our care... our Foster carer is doing a stellar job with him and he has just learnt not to yell abuse at her when he doesn’t get his way. He still has a way to go but we are sure he will get there

15.01.2022 This Happens far too often... Especially with Bull Breeds!!!

10.01.2022 It will one week tonight that dear Gertie came in and yes she still will hide from you and she still will bolt with any fast movements buuuut what a difference in that face, the spark is back in her eyes, she is learning we are not all bad and we wish her no harm. Cudos to her Foster carers for being so patient even when she peed on the couch

09.01.2022 Its with incredibly sadness that we announce the passing of Bloke, he was one in a million. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to Wendy and her family we know he will sorely missed. Little story... 2 yrs ago Cindy and I were on way to Wendys house for the adoption of Peaches and on our way we had to pick up a surrender, which we did, a lump of a fella he was but very sweet...we got to Wendys home and went through the adoption process with Peaches and we mentioned that we had this new surrender in the car...Gary (RIP) asked if he could have a look at him and to the day I die I will never forget this wonderful man within 2 seconds taking the lead out of my hand and walking Bloke into his home, it still brings tears to my eyes to witness such kindness by Gary and Wendy. Bloke was loved.

08.01.2022 It’s with the heaviest of hearts that we learned of the passing of Alan, of Al & Dolly fame, many of you will remember the mighty Alan & Dolly when they first came in rescue many yrs ago. To Sharyn and Family, you gave nothing but your best and for that we are eternally grateful Sharyns post: With broken hearts today we had to say goodbye to Old man Alan, he was tired and ready to go. He was about 15 we think, I hope he had some fun whilst with us. I’m sure he’s with Pa now, relishing the peace, he will possibly haunt Dolly for a payback, god knows she deserves it! Thank you Alan ,he was such a sweet soul even though he pissed on bath mats, ate socks and toilet paper and yodelled like lunatic, we will miss him tremendously... so will bitch face Dolly (but she’d never admit it!)

07.01.2022 Welcome to rescue Breaker Breaker is 1 and half year old man about town who will need his jingle bells removed. Breaker is quite a solid unit but a very sweet boy with an outgoing personality, once we have those jingles removed he will be going up for adoption. Welcome Breaker to a new beginning Victoria only.... http://www.frenchbulldogrescueandadoption.com/breaker.html See more

06.01.2022 Welcome to rescue Gertie We don't know how old she is, we estimate between 2/3..we don't know her name and her behaviour signals that she never had one, she appears to have had a litter, maybe 2 and she feels at her safest in a crate...she is petrified of open spaces and looks for the nearest place to hide. She will go on a lead but she makes sure she is right at the end of it to get away from you. This poor little girl knows nothing of human kindness and its heartbreaking to... say the least, there is no aggression in her only fear, you can pat her but she recoils into the back of the crate, more than likely she has been dragged out her crate many times....so bloody sad. She will only eat and drink when you are not watching so our Foster carers are taking it slow and steady, letting her observe the hum of the household at a height and she can she see facial expressions better from height, hopefully in a week or so she will go to ground level and not perceive it as threatening. She has a raging UTI which we are treating and we are also treating her for Coccidiosis and Giardia, time will tell when we will get her desexed. With love, care and a good diet we will hopefully get Gertie to trust. Welcome precious, you are safe now. See more

03.01.2022 Welcome to rescue Mya Victoria only. Mya is a 18 mth old lady that is not particularly suited to mixing with certain dogs or farm animals, they don’t appreciate her constant attention. Mya will be vet checked and we will try and address her prey drive, she’s a dear girl, extremely loving, loves kids she just needs to bring it down a notch or two. Welcome Mya to a new start... Please no inquiries at this stage, early days yet. See more
