25.01.2022 We have had some difficult times here at Frenchville Dentists over the last couple of weeks, due entirely to our phone systems having been disconnected by our provider with no good reason and without any warning. It is regrettable that our capacity to provide timely treatment, especially for emergencies, was compromised by the inability of our patients to be able to contact us. Happily, that is in the past now, and we can provide the Dental Services that are sought here in Frenchville in our usual fashion and at short notice. Thanks to those loyal patients of ours who found a way to get in touch with us we really appreciate your forebearance.

25.01.2022 Its that time of year again! Football season is mouthguard season. Mouthguards are an essential item of safety equipment during the sports season- any sports! Our mouthguards here at Frenchville Dentists are custom made, on a model of your teeth. We have a range of colours here, either one standard colour or two. Its your choice!... It is more cost effective to wear a custom made mouthguard than to play without a mouthguard and to receive a dental injury, which are expensive to treat! 20.01.2022 If your children are aged between 2 and 17 years and if they are eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule, you can receive Medicare-funded treatment at Frenchville Dentists. The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) is capped at $1000 per child over two consecutive calendar years. We can check your childs eligibility either over the phone or in our practice, all we need is your Medicare card number. 16.01.2022 On Saturday the 23rd of February Teah, Katie and Jordann travelled to Brisbane for the 2019 Dental Assisting Student Graduation. This is where Katie and Jordann received their Certificate III in Dental Assisting. It was a wonderful evening that was put together by the ADAQ. We would also like to thank Dr Phoebe Fernando for coming to the dinner and spending the night with us, it was a lovely catch up after she recently left Frenchville... Dentists. Certificate III in Dental Assisting provides the skills for staff to work as a competent assistant while safely assisting the dentist during oral health care procedures. With them also gaining skills in infection control and practice administration. This is a 12 month course that Frenchville Dentists allow staff to complete with all expenses by the practice. 15.01.2022 We would like to wish our new and existing patients a Merry Christmas and a safe 2019. Frenchville Dentists will be open between Christmas and New Year, so if you need to see us with a broken tooth or a toothache, please do not hesitate to call our reception staff at 8:30AM Thursday, Friday and Monday mornings to arrange an appointment. 14.01.2022 Dr Moore and Dr Mandal spent most of Friday and Saturday a couple of weekends ago at the Rockhampton dentists annual study weekend. We were privileged to hear Dr Jason Michael, who is a Specialist Paediatric Dentist from a busy practice in Wollongong. Jason is one of the Dental Specialists in various fields who are happy to give to both of us their valuable advice when we come across a situation that we are not completely familiar with. There are occasionally unusual problems that have us momentarily stumped but there is always someone who has the experience to clarify our best response. We are very grateful to these people.

12.01.2022 My niece,Tilly, was home from California for a big family Christmas. She is studying at San Jose State University, and plays Water Polo for SJSU. Down the years I have made quite a few mouthguards in various colours for her - for Hockey and Water Polo, and now she needs a new one in the colours for her uni. Mouthguards were once only made clear, but Water Polo was the sport that demanded coloured versions - no more losing them at the bottom of the pool!
