Game every 3 to 4 weeks. Over 40 zone carnival in Rockhampton with a CQ team involved in Oct. Over 50/60 CQ team participating in carnival in Cairns in May. Whether we have enough numbers to enter a team. Please come along if you are interested or tag people who may be interested.

22.01.2022 G'day folks, My tenure as interim Frenchville cricket club president draws to a close this weekend. As such, any and all correspondence, queries, complaints or otherwise should be directed to any of our wonderful committee members, to our accomplished secretary Joe McGahan or our tenacious treasurer Brent Hartley.... With 2 teams worth of kids involved this season, we are seeking assistance with the game day operations. To sweeten the deal, the team(s) coach would be offered a reimbursement on their participant's registration for season 2019. Get in contact with us if you're interested in helping out.

15.01.2022 Junior Training Starting Hi all, training for the U/13’s will start this Thursday, 24th September, at 4pm. This may switch to slightly earlier next week to allow the players involved in the soccer training afterwards to have a break. At this stage it will be run by myself, however there may be a few different senior players taking sessions throughout the year depending on my work situation. Please remember that each player needs their own water bottle and there is to be... no sharing of gear. Sign in sheets will be available on the day. Master Blasters and junior blasters will start in the 2nd week of term 4 I believe. Any issues, please let me know. Sam Chew President

15.01.2022 A grade boys get the win over cap coast 236 to 73. Jack Harris with his maiden Frenchy Falcons ton! Reserves had the bye today.

14.01.2022 Congratulations to our very own Jack Harris (front right) on winning the u/18 Ron Bushby Shield with North Qld against South Qld. After 3 days of great cricket, NQ managed a 2-1 series win, with our talented young batsman scoring 44 (75), 29 (56) and 20* (19). With 93 runs and an average of 46.50, Jacko was the 2nd highest run scorer and had the best batting average over the 3 days. ... While no U/18 QLD team will be picked this season due to Covid-19, Jack tells me that the selectors will be picking players to train with the QLD U/19 development squad going forward. Safe to say everyone at the mighty Falcons is proud of your efforts Jacko and wishing you all the best on your hopeful selection!

07.01.2022 Junior registrations are now open for the 2020/21 season. All registered juniors will receive a playing shirt and hat as part of their registration. There will be club representatives there to answer any questions you may have and to help with signing on.

05.01.2022 For Junior Cricket Fixtures today, final decisions for the Under 14 games will be made prior to 7am. At the moment, it does appear unlikely that games will go... ahead on turf and if rain continues then astro field wickets will not be safe to play on as well. For Under 12 and Under 16 Fixtures, fields will be assessed prior to 11am with final confirmation being available then. Please remember that the players safety and well being is the first priority for determining if games will go ahead or not.
