21.01.2022 The first time we visited this stunning village we couldn’t believe our eyes. Every street bore witness to to the ochre for which it’s famous. It was nearing the end of the season so we had our final glace (ice-cream) au cassis and bought some fabulous Provençal table cloths from a lady who virtually begged me to take them as she was going away for Christmas. 16.01.2022 The first time I came to Provence I stayed with my mum’s best friend who wanted to find peace and escape the heat of Paris. She and her Chou(darling husband) rented an apartment every year, for the month of August. Every morning I would go with Leon to the boulangerie to get our baguette and croissant for breakfast to be served by Claudine on the balcony. Living in this village changed me forever. I experienced a different pace of life and developed an appreciation of ch...aracter filled medieval villages as I meandered through their cobbled stoned alleys leading to one breathtaking view after another. My eyes were opened and I am forever grateful to my darling friends for their love and kindness.
