This art work and artefacts form provocation for discussions around the original owners of the land on which our site is built, the Noongar Beeliar People. Please take time to discuss the display with your child as you pass through the foyer.

14.01.2022 It's so nice to enter the service and smell what amazing food Chef Damian is cooking up in the kitchen. Nutrition is vital for our growing children and having a dedicated chef who designs the meal plan across all of our centres is key. Ensuring all dietary needs are met, the menu is varied and also introduces the children to new tastes and textures. ... The children love the food and love learning how to make some dishes and helping out in the garden harvesting our plants and vegetables. 13.01.2022 Were so grateful to JEM Floral Design for giving us flowers to do still life painting in our Kindy room. Our educator Amanda sat with the children to discuss the flower colours and match them with our paints. This activity was created to allow the children to paint their own interpretation of what they could see and they did so with great enthusiasm.

04.01.2022 We have a new face at Freo Kids Port Coogee! We are delighted to welcome Chef Sandra to the team. Sandra has been in the food industry for over 5 years, starting her own successful Middle Eastern mobile food business in 2015 offering food thats made from scratch and full of fresh and unprocessed ingredients. She has a keen interest in sustainability and reducing food waste, and we are excited about Sandra introducing composting and gardening to the centre Her aim is to create nutritious yet flavoursome food that children of all ages will love.

We wish we had a before pic but it was a crowd favourite with the children and was gone in no time so we have a picture of an almost empty plate If you do make it at home get a photo before the family devours it!
