11.01.2022 The Mona is a safe space. Here's what's going on in the pub when we consider Covid-19. Our cleaning and hygiene practices are always to a high standard but we'...re making sure all of our surfaces are wiped down regularly and staff are taking extra care in hand washing. Our glass washers and dishwashers are of the highest quality in sanitising everything as required. We have a good supply of sanitising wipes which we're using as required. And if you believe the rumours that the Coronavirus doesn't like alcohol then rest assured we're well stocked and there's plenty of toilet paper. See more

10.01.2022 Lockdown didn't stop Lee enjoying Steak Night at home. It gave him a chance to play with his new Hibachi grill. $20 porterhouse or rump. With chips and sauce. Back at the Mona next Thursday 25th.

06.01.2022 In line with recent government regulations regarding COVID-19 we have decided to close our doors with the understanding that this is a necessary part of containing and turning around this crisis. We will be using this "break" as an opportunity to create and innovate and will be back with an even better menu at the Mona Castle Hotel as soon as is best.
