The Australian Government recently released a one-off $25,000 stimulus package to assist those wanting to renovate their principle place of residence or to build a new home (including first home buyers). It will greatly help Australia in its economic recovery by supporting the building industry and many small family businesses alike.... This is exciting news for people still dreaming of making substantial improvements to their existing homes or looking to make a change in designing something new. The renovation contract must range between $150,000 and $750,000 and the new home contract must be worth less than $750,000 (this includes first home buyers). Further eligibility information is mentioned in the link below. If this is an option you would like to consider in helping to achieve your renovation or new build please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have. Further information on eligibility and application processes for those wishing to access the Commonwealth HomeBuilder grant is available through the State Revenue Office Victoria.
