23.01.2022 ONE WEEK TO GO We are also super happy to announce we are introducing our re-useable cup. On entry or when you purchase your first drink, grab a re-useable cup for a $5 deposit. Return it back to the bar for your next drink and we will swap it for a clean one . At the end of the night return it to any of the bars or the front gate and we will refund your $5 and we can use them again for years to come. Its a pretty easy way to save 10,000+ single use cups over the weekend.

19.01.2022 Hey Fresh Hop Fans, Firstly we'd like to Thank everyone for their support of our Festival over the last 4 years. We set out to create an event celebrating not only the amazing hops grown here in Tassie but also the talents of our local brewers, great local food and live music. With your help we've exceeded our expectations.... We feel that we've accomplished everything we can in the current location and have outgrown the capacity of the site. For this reason we've decided to put a pause on Fresh Hop for 2020 while we explore options to make the Festival better and more sustainable in another location in 2021. We have a few tricks up our sleeve and have made some progress already. Thank again for all your support and we look forward to seeing you in 2021.

14.01.2022 Now that we have had a chance to recover from our wonderful weekend, we would like to say thank you! Thank you to all of our friends for making the Derwent Valley's first Fresh Hop Beer Festival a success. We certainly couldn't have done it without you! We'd like to say a big heartfelt Cheers to all of the brilliant brewers involved for crafting such delicious beers, our fantastic food vendors for keeping our bellies full and the groovy musicians for keeping us entertained. ... We're already thinking ahead to next year's festival! We look forward to seeing you all there

04.01.2022 We thought it might be worth mentioning through the kindness of 6 Tassie breweries, each ticket holder attending the sessions will be sipping away on Fresh hop beers as part of the ticket price plus we heard there may be meat and cheese involved.
