The song discusses themes relating to online behaviour, commenting on issues such as "cancel culture" and in a more broader sense, the deep-rooted problem of social media in the hate-driven content it promotes through its algorithms. 25.01.2022 ‘Tranquility’ is the debut EP from Melbourne’s Alex Marko released through Flo Creative Events. Over the last couple of months Alex, along with many other people in Melbourne, had been forced to reduce their contact with others and were confined to a small area of travel around their local neighborhood. In response to this, Alex put his creative mind to work and recorded this five-track instrumental EP which features beautiful sounds of nature mixed in with gorgeous soft guitar instrumentation and various other musical elements. If you are a fan of Adrianne Lenker and her recent album ‘instrumentals’, ‘Tranquility’ is definitely the EP for you. 05.01.2022 'Nervous Energy ' is the collaborative project of avant-garde composer Mindy Meng Wang and electronic instrumentalist Tim Shiel. In 2020, both artists came together to develop four excellent compositions which featured on the EP. These tracks range from laid-back dub sounds, minimalist house arrangements, and melodic based musical pieces. One prominent feature of this release is Mindy's 21-string traditional guzheng, which creates this almost meditative atmosphere to ...the record when played. Overall, the record serves as a fine reminder that collaborations, when done well, can produce amazing results. Fans of Bonobo, Guzz, Sonia Calico, and Gold Panda should definitely check this one out.
