25.01.2022 WARNING We have a nest in the bush next to the garage...luckily it’s not a magpie but a pair of beautiful spotted doves who are currently sitting on eggs. Please be mindful that although they are quite timid, they can sometimes fly out and give you a little bit of a fright!

23.01.2022 As next week sees us into November I thought it would be timely to prepare everyone for my Christmas closing times. FOTP will be closed from Thursday 24/12 to Sunday 03/01 inclusive. 12.01.2022 Dear valued clients. For those of you who are still utilising my services I would like to reassure you that Im doing my upmost to continue to remain open for as long as possible. For now, it remains business as usual. Im currently sanitising all baskets as they arrive, as well as hanger hooks, doorknobs, doorbell and all other work spaces and equipment.... I am using gloves to handle cash (direct deposit is available for those of you who prefer that method), and I am practicing the 1.5m social distancing rule. Please be reminded that I use a heated industrial board and a powerful steam station which is hot enough to kill bacteria and viruses. No members of my household are in any way unwell or considered at risk. We are all practicing staying home as much as possible. Obviously some of you will find yourselves in a position of not needed ironing done and all I ask is that you let me know as soon as you can if you would like me to hold your spot for now or not. This will also enable me to alter my open days as dictated by workload. Finally, stay safe and healthy everyone and Im hoping things return to some level of normality in the not too distant future. 11.01.2022 FYI : Steam ironing is a highly effective way to get your clothes 99% bacteria free! For steam to be created, water has to heat to a temperature of 212 F (100 C). This is the temperature at which most harmful germs, bacteria, mold, viruses, and even dust mites die. All items here at FOTP are ironed on a heated industrial board and hand pressed with a powerful steam station. Stay healthy everyone!
