This role requires excellent communication skills, being able to establish a rapport with new and existing patients, being a team player and having a great attitude. 07.01.2022 Dr Richard Wang received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from James Cook University before embarking on his dental career, which first begun in regional New South Wales. Since making the move to Tasmania in 2018 and joining the team at Fresh Start Dental, Dr Richard has quickly become known as a caring and friendly dentist which has enabled him to provide a relaxed experience for all his patients. Dr Richard has a strong passion in all fields of dentistry and has accumulated h...is experiences from volunteering in a vast majority of programs throughout Australia, Sri Lanka and most recently Ukraine. Richard’s weekends are mostly spent at dental courses where he is continuing to further his education in different aspects of dentistry, such as Dental Implants and Orthodontics. When he is not at work, Richard spends his time travelling, playing badminton and enjoying a round of table tennis. 07.01.2022 Fresh Start Dental are excited to announce that Dr Kevin Rung is going to be joining our team! Dr Kevin Rung graduated from the University of Western Australia (UWA) with a Doctor of Dental Medicine and also studied Medical Science at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). Dr Kevin grew up in Thailand (Bangkok) but moved to Sydney more than 10 years ago. He enjoys getting to know his patients and is passionate about preventive dentistry. Away from dentistry, he enjoys eati...ng out and travelling to new places with friends. Dr Kevin Rung will be starting at Fresh Start Dental on Wednesday 4th March and will be available Monday-Friday as well as evening and Saturday morning appointments. Welcome to the team Dr Kevin. 04.01.2022 Sam Duggan is our Senior Clinical Co-Ordinator, and has been with Fresh Start Dental since late 2016. You will most commonly find Sam in surgery alongside Dr Stephen Mace, with a motivating attitude for high quality infection control. Sam is a leader with our training of new and upcoming staff members Outside of Fresh Start Dental Sam spends her time with friends and family in Hobart, and also enjoys going to music festivals and camping in her free time.... Sam has spent the last few months busily training fellow staff members in preparation to take a break from Fresh Start Dental to embark on the journey of motherhood. Sam and her partner, Silv, are due to welcome a baby boy in April this year.

02.01.2022 Life is getting a bit more back to normal here at Fresh Start Dental and we are pleased to announce we are now on level 1 restrictions - which means we can resume all dental treatment. All our staff have undertaken Covid-19 training and we will still be practicing social distancing and additional infection control procedures. We will start contacting all our patients whose appointments we had to cancel and have been waiting patiently for our call, as well as our other patient...s due for their routine exam and clean appointments. We will be asking the following Questions before booking your appointments. 1. In the past 14 days have you had close contact with a confirmed case or probable case or the COVID-19 ? 2. Do you currently show any of the following symptoms related to the COVID-19 such Fever, night sweats ,chills or any respiratory symptoms such as a cold shortness of breath or sore throat?
