24.01.2022 As the winter months arrive, we have beanies, scarfs and tracksuits for those in need. The beanies and scarfs are donated by Pam from City Life Church and the ladies from her knitting group made with love and the tracksuits were donated by Linda. 21.01.2022 Here at Fresh Start Missions, our mission is to provide the basic essentials we take for granted and give people a fresh start. We take our trailer with 3 showers, 6 washers and dryers and a full kitchen to two locations, on Friday’s we head to the Port Kembla Community Centre and on Sunday’s we head to Wentworth Park in Glebe. Look out for the big white trailer and you’ll spot us in our blue shirts. Come have a chat, have a cuppa and use our facilities! Friday: 4pm - 7pm @ ...Port Kembla Community Centre. Corner of Allan Street and Kembla Street, Port Kembla NSW 2505 Sunday: 2pm - 6pm @ Wentworth Park, Glebe. 20.01.2022 WE’RE AT MALUA BAY! (Update: We’ll be at Malua Bay till Saturday 3pm, then we are moving over to the hanging rock evacuation centre. Which is located at Hanging Rock Place, Batemans Bay) Today was our first day using our fresh start trailer helping those affected by the bush fires, it’s been fantastic seeing so many grateful people. 04.01.2022 Another successful joint effort tonight between The Bikers Hand and Fresh Start Missions in helping those in need. TBH were able to supply some hot meals, banan...as, oranges, fresh carrot sticks and beans for snack packs, lovely hand knitted beanies, breakfast packs, basic essentials packs, chip, cupcakes and a special treat of an Easter Egg thanks to Good360 Australia. A special thanks as always to Foodbank NSW & ACT for keeping us stocked up with high quality items. Fresh Start Missions are absolutely amazing in bringing their trailer with washing machines, dryers, a shower and hot cup of coffee/tea, noodles and sandwiches to give the less fortunate some dignity with hot shower and clean clothes.
