23.01.2022 Homelessness has many different faces in our communities.

22.01.2022 Our new emergency relief space has officially launched this week! We are so very grateful for all the donations we have received so far. At this point we are taking referrals from the Deception Bay Neighbourhood centre to provide emergency weekend food relief in Deception Bay, Burpengary and Narangba areas, as well as walk ins on Fridays. If you would like to donate please see the items attached. All donations are greatly appreciated. Donations can be dropped off within office hours Tues- Fri 9-2pm or given for food offering on Sundays during the services.

22.01.2022 We handed out our first food parcel last Friday. It was great to connect, have a chat, and see a big smile. Thank you to everyone supporting this important ministry

20.01.2022 Great news! The Freshwater op-shop will reopen this coming Wednesday the 27th of May. We are pleased to offer contactless purchasing via EFTPOS and strict social distancing measures will be in place. Come on down for a bargain and friendly banter. See you there!

19.01.2022 We have emergency food parcels ready for anyone in need. These can be collected on Wednesday mornings from 10 am during op shop hours, or Fridays from 12-2. Drop us a message to arrange pick up. Blessings!

18.01.2022 Hello! We are happy to announce that we will be offering contactless emergency relief every Friday between 12-2 pm. The packs will include long like food, milk, etc. We also have a limited supply of other essential items. If you or anyone you know is doing it tough and needs some help to get them through the weekend, just send us a message on FB and we will arrange a time for pick up.

17.01.2022 The Well is a community coffee space run entirely by volunteers. Its core mission is to provide a space where people can come to meet, share food and coffee together, support each other, and promote community initiatives. We want The Well to be a place of community and support, just like traditional wells used to be in the first century. The Well offers suspended coffee, which is a coffee that someone else has bought to pay it forward, gifting it to a stranger who who may not be in a position to pay for themselves. Open to Public 9am-1pm Thursdays.

16.01.2022 We know times are tough so we have extended our emergency food relief times. You can now also request food relief during our Op-Shop times Wednesdays 9-2. Come and talk to one of our friendly volunteers or PM us on Fb. God bless.

16.01.2022 Our Op Shop aims to provide good quality items for extremely generous prices. The Op Shop is a fantastic way to connect with the community. We have created a photo album with a small selection of items and prices from the Op Shop. This album is hidden from the news feed so that it is not flooded with pics of things for sale. If you are interested or know of anyone who may benefit from a bargain take a look at the album.

14.01.2022 Amazing things can happen when organisations work together. We take referrals from Deception Bay neighbourhood centre. This ensures that people do not miss out on much needed sustenance over the weekend. It can make all the difference when we work together!

12.01.2022 We have just received some kids Halloween masks. If you know any kids that are doing it tough and could put these masks to good use please drop us a DM.

11.01.2022 We have a board full of suspended coffees. Someone has paid for a coffee to pay it forward to those who may be struggling. Its suicide prevention week so a perfect time to invite someone out for a coffee. The simple act of asking "are you ok" is powerful. The Well is open tomorrow from 9am. We would live to see you.

07.01.2022 Our partnership with Oz Harvest calculates the positive impact we are having on the environment by making sure products are used and not wasted. This is the tally so far.
