25.01.2022 The great Greek Beauty Irene Pappas who played "the widow" in the movie "Zorba the Greek". I can't think of anyone that personifies the beauty of APHRODITE more aptly. In the early 70's Irene sang on a rock song titled "Aphrodite's Child. The lyrics were "I was, I am, I am to come". Which were chanted repeatedly and wildly over a percussive backing, causing controversy with her "graphic orgasm". Love it! Might have to try this myself. Never had a "graphic orgasm" Have you? 25.01.2022 Archetype Activation: The Exorcist Part 2 of 3 Shadow Side of the Exorcist ... Sees shadow everywhere except with self - Attacks the evil everywhere else and in everyone else but within. Terrified of seeing what is present in their own shadow. Attracted to the destruction - Evil energy can be very strong, powerful, dynamic and attractive. Immature Exorcist - Blames all destructive impulses on spirits, ghosts and psychic attacks and creates a lot of theatrics in attempts to exorcise. The self destruction and toxic energy I see comes from limiting beliefs, familial patterns, survival behaviour and low self worth - NOT evil spirits or being possessed by devil. 24.01.2022 I felt troubled so took time away from social media. I’ve always considered myself a bridge - someone that can find connections between different worlds: the sacred and the profane the corporate and the conscious ... the spiritual and the scientific passion and purpose the left and right side of the brain But with the election in the US I needed to pause and reassess. The divide seemed too great even for me. In Australia I have been shocked and saddened by the actions of people I assumed were caring and considered in the conscious, yoga and vegan communities who have gone down the toxic Trump loving QAnon path. These people seem to have a few things in common- they are white with a history of trauma or past negative family experience where trust has been broken as well as a fear of seeing what is in their unconscious. I’m trying to have compassion here even though their beliefs cause harm to those who are not white, straight and cis. Not to mention their terrifying and entitled beliefs around COVID. I’m still reflecting and have ordered a book called The Cult of Trump: A Leading Cult Expert Explains How the President Uses Mind Control by @cultexpert to understand more. As an energy medicine practitioner I have felt the incredible powerful toxic spirals that are in a client’s seventh chakra* who has been involved in a cult. It’s real and impacts my client’s ability to connect with their higher self. I believe many of those in the cult of Trump will have these same subtle toxic spirals making it very difficult for them to see, hear and know their Higher Self and truth. 22.01.2022 Why I can no longer be associated with doTERRA This post is long overdue. 1. Racist and ignorant attitudes at the conference I attended by one of the founders. The person involved did apologise at the end after he was called out. ... 2. Another man high up in the organisation behaved inappropriately with the AUSLAN interpreter whilst he was on stage and she was working. I complained but the response was very unsatisfactory. 3. The white saviour attitudes I have seen at a conference in relation to the work they do in Africa. Literally saving a woman’s dignity because they gave her a job working with doTERTA. 4. doTERRA formed a relationship with Pete Evans when he has been problematic for years and only cancelled this association after he was obviously showing his white supremacy views. 5. One of the leaders I was initially drawn to was Tara Bliss. Tara has shown increasingly problematic views. She posted in her stories that she did not support BLM and now this recent post here is transphobic. For the record NO ONE is trying to get you to stop using gender when referring to yourself or people who identify as women. Tara has conflated an action that Nancy Pelosi has taken to make the language in the TEXT of the Rules of House more inclusive. Gendered language is NOT banned and nobody wants to ban it. This is what happens when you go down too many QAnon worm holes on the net. And many of them are members of multilevel-marketing organizationsa massive, under-examined sector of the American retail economy that is uniquely fertile ground for conspiracism. 13.01.2022 Make Merry at Beltane We are half way between the equinox and solstice. For us in the southern hemisphere we are a few days away from celebrating Beltane and for the other half - Samhain or All-hallows Eve. Ways to Celebrate Beltane... Light a fire and throw in herbs in honour of growth and prosperity. When the fire is cool anoint each other with ash for good luck and prosperity Place a garland of flowers on your door or near the entrance of your house to celebrate Spring at its peak and the Goddess Flora. Dedicate your lovemaking and sexual energy to this fertile time in hounour of the horned God and Triple Goddess. If you want to make a baby get busy. Feast on oatmeal cake and other baked goods. Dance around a May pole or on the moist grass. Don't forget the fae or little spirits. Leave something out for them around mounds or gardens. 09.01.2022 Archetype Activation: The Exorcist Part 1 of 3 I am feeling a bit shy to share this archetype, because I am revealing a big part of me. The reason I am feeling bashful is because this archetype is seen in HORROR movies and I really don’t want you to think I am SCARY!... But the northern hemisphere is approaching All-Hallows Eve/Samhain and here in the southern hemisphere we too have Halloween paraphernalia about so maybe a little spookiness is called for. Today we are talking about THE EXORCIST - an archetype that I possess (excuse the pun ) in my psyche. The Exorcist is an archetype whose power is in its capacity to see shadow and activate it in order to release, integrate or exorcise the shadow. This then restores the light, wholeness and goodness. That’s not so scary, right? Light Side of the Exorcist Sees truth, sees reality - Ability to see both the light and shadow in a person, place or situation. When you are only seeing shadow you cannot see hope, when you are only seeing light you are spiritually bypassing. Activates shadow, evil and the destructive so it can be dealt with - When shadow and evil is activated then it can be seen and felt. When the toxic and evil is in hiding it operates and influences in a surreptitious and sneaky way. Exorcises the destructive - Removes the destructive forces or creates the environment for destructive forces to leave. Not afraid of confrontation - The path of wholeness, truth and goodness motivates the Exorcist to confront the shadow. Committed to exorcising inner demons - This is a lifetime commitment for the Exorcist to see their own shadow and destructive tendencies and work on releasing or integrating these parts of self. 08.01.2022 You should come with a warning A client said this to me recently as the intimate communion with her chosen archetype deepened. This communion activated the power of the archetype which arranged my client’s life in the exact way where she was given the choice to rise courageously and in integrity with her values and talents or to put it in the too bothersome bin. Sexual Manipulation: Aphrodite has the capacity to use her beauty and sexuality to seduce and ensnare for her own ends. Superficial obsession: To feel the need to be a great beauty when we live in a world which for the most part does not celebrate aging - rather tells us that youth is beauty and age is ugly- can be very difficult for some folk as they age. 01.01.2022 As the Northern Hemisphere celebrates Samhain (pronounced sow-een), Down Under we are celebrating Beltane on 31 October. This is halfway between the spring equinox and the summer solstice, which is the peak of spring and the beginning of summer. Life is bursting with potent fertility, and so it is the perfect time to sow seeds for whatever you wish to give birth to whether it is a human baby or another form of creation. Tonight is the perfect time to perform Heiros Gamos ( t...he sacred marriage sexual rite). The God marrying the Goddess. Please note this is not about heterosexual sex, rather about the energies of yin/feminine, yang/masculine. Or play or purpose, movement or stillness, inspiration or intuition. If you don’t have a intimate partner it doesn’t matter. Individuals may wish to perform this rite alone, but with the energy in the air at this time of year you very well may have company. The word Beltane originates from the name Belenus meaning the Celtic God of light (also Bel is a general term of respect for Gods ie. lord/master in Mesopotamia) and teine meaning fire . Beltane is a holiday to welcome back the sun god Bel and the renewal that this brings. I’m loving the new leaves sprouting on frangipani trees and the smell of jasmine. Also loving the longer days. I’m certainly a Belenus worshipper! One thing you can do to harness this energy is to gather the dew that appears on the 1 Nov (or 1 May/ May Day in Northern Hemisphere) and sprinkle it on you face and tongue. This is a potent liquid to seed your creative endeavours. It’s kinda like the sperm of the sun God . Also a good time to plant those herbs you have been thinking about.
