23.01.2022 Bird is the word at Freycinet for the last 2 weeks. Well done to Ray today taking home the Turkey in our Christmas in July Turkey Run and last week a chicken. Well done to Robyn Alexander, Sam Kain and Peter Wallis all recent chook winners.

Today we had another first time Chicken Run winner Karen Reed with 19pts winning on a c/b from Leon Dransfield and Wally with 17pts all taking home a chook. 07.01.2022 After a reduced season yesterday the last FOBS game for the year was played at Swansea with Orford finishing on top with 503 Eclectic points. After Swansea holding the Alan Emmes & Patsy Muir Trophy for the last few years Ricky handed it over to Orford. Well done Orford we look forward to next years battle! Graeme Whitchurch with 36pts and Karen Reed with 33pts were the winners for Freycinet. Well done

05.01.2022 Coles Bay Convenience Chicken Run had another new winner this week Baden Alexander with 21 Pts and a great photo of our runner up Nigel Carins with 17 Pts, well done to both. A reminder the Saffire and Freycinet Lodge Annual tournament is on Friday, Saturday and Sunday October 2, 3, & 4th, if you haven’t already got your entry in do so now as entries close tomorrow. And thank you to all that came to FOS what a great successful day and lovely to see so many familiar faces. Well done to Orford still leading the comp with the last round being played 21st November at Swansea 9:30 for 10:00. Happy golfing

05.01.2022 Coles Bay Convenience Chicken Run had a good turn out yesterday and a couple of ripper scores. Paul McCauley with his best score yet was a clear winner on 25 points and Peter Faulkner with a steady 18 were both happy chook winners. Baden Alexander had a good win earlier in the month. Well done to all. Captain v President’s Day this Saturday with the AGM being held after at 4pm. Happy Golfing
