16.01.2022 We wanted to let you know there is some world class small businesses here in Freycinet still offering experiences. From oyster tasting, to quad biking. All incl...ude a dose of pristine fresh air and a healthy serve of genuine Tassie hospitality. We are all working hard to keep our guests and staff safe, and keeping a keen eye on Government up-dates. We understand now might be a bit tricky for some of you, but we’d love to show you our slice of paradise sometime soon #freycinet #colesbay #eastcoasttasmania #holidayherethisyear #discovertasmania See more

09.01.2022 Some signs of life amongst the wreckage - we've just got our first booking since this all started. Although it's for Feb next year it means there is some optimism starting to occur out there. Stay well and safe. And to all our guests that had to cancel, we hope you can visit our beautiful island sometime in the future.

09.01.2022 The safety of visitors, volunteers and staff is the Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service’s highest priority. The PWS recognises that time spent outdoors is impor...tant to Tasmanians, particularly during this challenging time. Importantly, all of our parks and reserves remain open, including our campgrounds. Although we continue to welcome visitors to our parks and reserves, following advice from the Tasmania Department of Health about social distancing and public gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic, the PWS has made the decision to close some facilities until further notice. This includes Mount Field, Freycinet, and Cradle Mountain visitor centres, which will close to the public from tonight.
