25.01.2022 All of our activities are cancelled for at least 6 weeks due to the return to Level 3 restrictions. We will let you know when our restrictions are lifted. Keep well everyone.

12.01.2022 A large flock of Straw neck Ibis seen in Bushy Park over the last couple of weeks

12.01.2022 STOP PRESS: National Tree Day has been cancelled by Planet Ark We are now only allowed to have 10 people attend our activities. Please register at ParkConnect if you want to attend any function. We are planning to run 2 sessions if we have enough volunteers. If you are attending please bring your own gardening gloves, water, etc. and be sure to sign in. Social distancing is essential and easy to achieve in most of our events. Do not share tools or car share. We still need and value our volunteers. We just need to work within the rules to keep everyone safe.

09.01.2022 This morning Friends of Dandenong Valley Parklands and ParksVic staff planted 1,400 new plants in Koomba Park North. Some of the ground was very soggy after the recent rains so hopefully this together with the rains expected at the weekend will give the new plants a good start.
