25.01.2022 One of the really special things in Murramarang National Park is the forest of majestic spotted gums; it is one of the most continuous stands in NSW. With an understorey of burrawangs palms, the forests stretch right down to the ocean and is truly a sight to see.

Using radar observations and data derived from European Space Agency satellites, together with the Bureau of Meteorology, The Sydney Morning Herald mapped the total area likely flooded for that week.
