09.01.2022 RAAF Base Edinburgh has a new addition, with a retired AP-3C Orion taking up residence as a gate guard. Moving the Orion from the flight line to its new location required a bit of 'off-roading', so we got our Australian Army mates to give us a tow. 04.01.2022 A little bit more about Z Force Special Unit

01.01.2022 It is important to recognise and embrace the stories of all who have served, and continue to serve, so we can truly be the Air Force of Australians for all Aus...tralians. On October 23 Air Commander Australia Air Vice-Marshal Joe Iervasi dedicated a new building at RAAF Base Williamtown to Leonard ‘Len’ Waters, Australia’s only known Indigenous fighter pilot during WW2. Len flew 95 operational sorties during the Pacific campaign, before discharging from the Air Force with the rank of Warrant Officer on January 18, 1946. Len is just one of the many Indigenous Australians who have served, and continue to serve in #AusAirForce. Find out more about Len this #NAIDOCWeek: http://ia.anu.edu.au/biogra/waters-leonard-victor-len-24662 #AusAirForce #NAIDOC2020
