14.01.2022 Trees For Life Bushcare Workshop This workshop is open to people who are or want to become a member of Friends of the Lower Field River. The workshop will provide you with the knowledge and skills required to undertake basic environmental activities at the site. You will be taught best practice bushcare skills. Being a bushcare volunteer is a rewarding and practical way to help your local environment. The workshop is funded through a partnership between City of Marion and Trees For Life. The one-day workshop (9.30am 4.30pm) comprises of a classroom session and a field trip. Available workshop dates - Saturday 20 March 2021 and Friday 7 May 2021. 06.01.2022 Join us for our Field Work Day this Sunday 15 November 2020. Due to hot weather we will be starting at 8.30am and finishing at 11.30am. The focus will be on removal of Herbaceous weeds in the newly revegetated area on the southern side of Cormorant Drive. You will find the revegetation site by following the southern path from Cormorant Drive. Please feel free to join us on the day.
