18.01.2022 Now that the threat of Covid has eased, and we can all go out to play a bit more there are likely to be lots of events happening in the coming weeks. This is just one of them - a family friendly day that allows everyone to give free rein to their creative side. Mark it on the calendar, and please share with your networks so the day is a success.
17.01.2022 We were lucky in being able to raise the necessary funds to save Windermere's St Mathias church from being sold, but there are other communities who are struggling to do the same. If you're in a position to support this community - even just by sharing this post - please consider doing so.
13.01.2022 Note the date and time, and come along to support and celebrate the talent of Launceston-born writer, Robbie Arnott. Robbie's debut novel, Flames won numerous awards, and was short-listed for a good many more. Robbie will be speaking about his recent book The Rain Heron - which has also received rave reviews and was a victim of Covid preventing the usual launch in the north earlier this year. The NBC meeting will be on Wednesday 18 November, from 2pm - 3.30pm and will be held at the Pilgrim Church on Paterson Street, adhering to all the COVID-safe regulations so suggestions are to arrive in good time as contact details will need to be recorded for all attendees. There will be a small $4.00 payment for non-NBC members. Please share with your friends!
11.01.2022 You can help conserve Tasmanian ecosystems by taking photos of frogs
08.01.2022 Looking for some Christmas gifts, or stuck for something to do on Saturday? Come along to this market day at Dilston Hall - which is also a fundraiser to help support the ongoing maintenance of Windermere's St Matthias' Church.
08.01.2022 Good news for lovers of Launceston's Parkrun - the event is back from October 17!
