15.01.2022 Thanks to all those who participated in the Aussie Backyard Bird Count, as part of last week's National Bird Week. This event has its origins in the early 1900s with the Royal Australasian Ornithologists Union.

10.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who supported Seeding the Future. Members donated thousands of plants, which were joyfully given to our wider Ballarat community. The weather was wonderful. A great day.



04.01.2022 Free Guided Tours for locals and visitors! Every Sunday morning in October and November at 11am. Provided by the Friends of Ballarat Botanical Gardens. Take a leisurely stroll through the gardens and hear about its history, stories, trees and statues and find out about the changes and development underway. Your guide will show you the highlights of this beautiful heritage listed garden. ... Meet at the Conservatory at 11am on a Sunday in Spring. No need to book, just turn up and a guide will be there. Tour lasts about an hour. Covid restrictions limit numbers to 10. Participants are to be masked and practice social distancing.
