20.01.2022 Burt awards held by Burt Keogh recognised volunteers in the area - what an amazing, dedicated and from lots of different areas with in the community. Congratulations go to our very own Dee for being recognised for her commitment to Mary Carroll Wetland. Did you know Dee continued to come down during lock down to water so that our plants survived, comes every Monday to weed, plant and picks up rubbish, knows most of our plants by botanical name (shares with rest of group) and is often 1st person to spot our small crawling, hopping or flying insects. Mary Carroll Wetland is a better place for all your hard work.

There was a lovely chorus from Reed warbler and Kookaburra. Of course motorbike frogs joined in with all the chatter.
