Cover stories are the quickest and easiest way to end a conversation so it’s important to have a few in your conversation tool box (especially at this time of year). Cover stories aren’t always a lie. Sometimes that are the absolute truth and sometimes they are exaggerations of the truth. Examples of Cover Stories.. I don’t mean to be rude but I need to get going, I’m running late for an appointment. It’s been great chatting but I need to get to bed, I’ve got an early start. And in the spirit of the meme..
