25.01.2022 The #AussieBirdCount is a great way to connect with the birds in your local area! You can count as many times as you like over this week, making sure each count is completed over a 20-minute period. The data collected assists BirdLife Australia in understanding more about the birds that live where people live. Head to https://aussiebirdcount.org.au/ to find out more. What are some of your favourite birds to watch by the Creek?

25.01.2022 A good news story for the Darebin Creek to begin our week. Roughly 35 staff from Darebin council who have jobs that aren't possible to do during the Covid-19 crisis have been reallocated to help support our bush crews in mass plantings along the creek, amongst other things. This is a huge win for the biodiversity of our creek. It's fantastic to see Darebin using this time in such a positive manner.
