13.01.2022 We will be hosting another weeding session at Popeye lake tomorrow from 10AM to 12PM! Meeting point is same as a fortnight ago, Popeye carpark. Some rain is forecasted so bring a raincoat and a drink of water. We look forward to seeing you there!

10.01.2022 We will be hosting a Weeding session at the Popeye area (Yellow areas) and will be meeting in the Carpark at 10AM (Orange Point on map), this Saturday (17 October). Weeding will be done by hand and we can provide gloves if you do not have your own. Please RSVP by email to [email protected] if you are attending. Weather is forecasted to be warm and sunny, so don't forget to bring some water.

08.01.2022 We will be oiling the Olive Seymour Boardwalk next Saturday (25 July 2015) and require at least 6 volunteers. The Department of Parks and Wildlife (DPAW) will be sending down a representative to assist in the event. Please RSVP by email to [email protected] by latest Wednesday 5PM 22 July 2015. Meeting point would be at the Herdsman Lake Wildlife Centre Carpark (See map).

07.01.2022 As part of the annual Kings Park Festival, the Friends of Kings Park Native Plant Sale is held daily over the Queen's birthday long weekend in September. Time: 10:00AM - 4:00PM Date: Saturday, 26 September 2015 Where: Exhibition Ground... Visitors can choose from a huge range of native plants on sale, cultivated and grown by volunteers from the Friends of Kings Park, including unusual species not often found in commercial nurseries. Enthusiastic gardeners will find an interesting range of banksias, grevilleas, triggerplants, small mallee eucalypts, verticordias and more. A list of the plant species on sale is available on the Friends of Kings Park website (www.friendsofkingspark.com.au) prior to each sale. All plants are lovingly cultivated by the Friends of Kings Park and funds raised support projects in Kings Park and Botanic Garden.
