14.01.2022 Rupa, Rina and Dolma D are siblings from Pating village in Helambhu region. Rupa 12 years old is studying in grade 5, Rina 9 years old is studying in grade 2 and youngest sister Dolma 8 years old is studying in grade 4. Before earthquake they were living a very happy family but unluckily in earthquake 2015 they had lost their brother and mother. After that their father used to work in mountains reagion and he didn't take caring them and affording their education fees. So be...cause of all that reason somehow fhc knew about them and brought them and educating them here. Now all of 3 sister are living here in fhc hostel. Now they are becoming very smart, discipline and talent day by day. So we are very glad and proud to educating those kids who were facing so many problem and nearly left the school. So this is possible because of all those supporters who have been supporting us. Thank you for your continue support Namaste. See more

11.01.2022 Update from Batase Village: Batase School was closed down from 5 months ago because of COVID-19. Our FHC hostel children are doing self-study, and our team are helping them. The more advanced grade 9 and 10 students are teaching the younger students. They are helping to guide them through the material.

11.01.2022 There’s a very easy way you can help us! Your cans and bottles can help us to raise money for the children in Nepal, all of the 10 cents collected adds up to make a big difference. Please see the flyer below for information on how you can help. Thank you so much to JP Clayton and Pascale Michelle who put so much time and work into this work, they created the flyers and distributed them in the Redlynch community. Thank you also to Debbie, Daniel and Evie who did the letterbox drop yesterday. We really need your help with this. Som

03.01.2022 Rasundra Tamang grade 7 and Sangita Tamang grade 5 are brother and sister from Urleni village. When Rasundra was 7 and Sangita was about 4 years old they lost their father who was playing great role in their family. Their father was died because of stung by Harnet. So after that happend their mother was the main person in the family. But later she got married and left Rasundra and Sangita with their grandmother. So their was no one to look after them and provide the education. So finally we knew about their condition and brought them here in hostel. So now they are doing great here and learning many things everyday. Rasundra wants to become a farmer and Sangita wants to become a teacher in the future. 01.01.2022 The FHC family have lost someone so dear to our hearts. Prince Taiapa passed away yesterday. Prince became a friend to so many people in Batase village after visiting 5 years ago, Prince was also a much loved FHC family member here in Cairns. Prince, along with his wife Ellen always helped out at our fundraising events, Prince would work so hard with joy and happiness knowing his help was going to benefit the people he cared for in Nepal. The FHC family will always remember Prince for his continuous acts of kindness, for his patience, sense of humour and genuine care and compassion for others. Everyone who knows Prince will forever hold a special place for him in their hearts, he was truly a beautiful person. Our thoughts are with Ellen and their family during this time. Rest In Peace Prince.
