25.01.2022 Last week to have input on local parks and reserves.

22.01.2022 Moorabool Shire has many challenging reserves to look after. Glad we don't have prickly pear in our local reserve, hawthorn and blackberry are bad enough. The working for Victoria crews have been doing a tremendous job. Dealing with prickly pear, boxthorn and other thorny weeds is challenging.

21.01.2022 If you are interested in making your garden more wildlife friendly then this event may be for you. Our reserve forms an important corridor for wildlife and gardens help the wildlife move safely through the urban area.

12.01.2022 It was a beautiful day for a walk in the reserve today. The new table setting beside the mown open area, would be a good place for a picnic over the weekend. It is close to the children's play area.

08.01.2022 Good to see that the mass of blackberries and grass at the Gladstone Street end of the reserve were slashed earlier this month. It now allows better walking access from that end until winter comes and it will be wader territory only. Next time we hope the orange flowering environmental weeds, Montbretia, are not left unmown. They will gradually spread down the creek if not controlled.
