13.01.2022 From Friends of Scott Creek CP: The OPEN DAY planned for Sunday 15 November at Almanda Mine Site and the creek line has been cancelled. We have been advised that with strong winds and temperature into the 30’s there is every likelihood that a FIRE BAN will be declared for Sunday.... We would love to show off the work that Dr John Walmsley and his team have been doing and share the fascinating array of plants they have discovered with you, but safety is the priority. Thank you to those of you who have told us that you had expected to attend. Please let any friends or others you may have invited know that this event is not on. PS. Our Annual General Meeting is still on - Tuesday 7:30 at the Cherry Gardens CFS. Kind regards Jim Spiker Correspondence Secretary Friends of Scott Creek CP Email: [email protected] Website: http://friendsofscottcreekcp.org.au
