25.01.2022 Dear friends well we have been in lock down now for several weeks and things are starting to be lifted so we can get out and about again, praise God for that. Now there has been a decision made under the present circumstance our trip to the Solomon's want be happening. this year, and our fundraising dinner will be postponed till June 20 21 . All this has come about of covid19 restrictions on the size of crowd we can have at functions. Blessing John

23.01.2022 Hi every one well things at the Saura college are suspended for now so will let you all know when things are back to normal. We are all so praying for SSEC and staff at this time We are praying for those that have got the virus and they will get over it soon. Will keep you posted over the next few months. John

22.01.2022 Well here we are about to celebrate the birth of our Lord again. It is a privilege to represent the Friends of SSEC at the Christmas at Lifepointe event. Come and say hello if you visit the event. We are happy to give you details of mission trips in 2020. 19.01.2022 This is how our Church is show Christs love in this situation people are in right now. God is with us in the storms of life and I look at this virus as one of those storms, but we know God is with us all the time for those that have Him in their hearts. I pray for those that don’t know Him as their Lord and saviour, as He is the comforter in times like this. Blessing John.

18.01.2022 Dear friends well just to let you all know that we are coming out of lock down and thigs are slowly getting back to some what normal. We are praying for all those in the Solomon's and at the Saura Bible College that all is going well. Looking forward to were God is going to lead us next. John.

17.01.2022 Hi every one well the graduation is over at the Saura Bible College for another year and all the students are on holidays now till January 2020 when they will start there new year. We pray for them and the staff that they come back refreshed. I would like to thank every one for their prayers and support throughout 2019 and pray every one has a very Happy Christmas and a Blessed new year. I will now have some time off myself till the end of the year and will start preparations for our next trip in 2020. Blessings John.

16.01.2022 Hi every one well they are busy at Saura College getting ready for Graduation with all the preparations that need to be done. The Chicken farm is still going well but will be slowing down as it get closer to the Christmas holidays and the student all go home for Christmas. Daniel is better now and doing well and wants to thank every one for their prayers. John

13.01.2022 Well I have jus arrived back from the Solomon's with my friend Steve we had a good time catching up with Daniel. As Daniel is building a house in town for him and the girls as they get older now and Lyn started big school for the first time this week. We went out to Saura and seen the new students coming in to start their new term for the year. We met up with Cosmos the principle for a talk about the new year. I also spoke with David that looks after the library and he said ...it was working well and I was able to get him some ink for the printer. Ink is very expensive in the Solomon's as it cost me $500.00 Solomon dollars that is $90.00 Australian that is way out of reach for them, so any support you can give would be much appreciated. 06.01.2022 Hi every one I thought is was about time for an up date. Well there has been a bit of a restructure at the College and Daniel has moved to town to look after his two girls and is doing some work for awhile. We are praising God for the couple of new lecturers that have gone to Saura to teach the students. Edwin and Max are still working the chicken farm. It has slowed down a bit, and we are praying it will pick up during the year. They have been having a problem with the generator and it has been taken to town to be fixed. We are praying that the generator will be fixed soon and back at the College. Blessing John.

04.01.2022 Hi every one, well October is here and the Solomon Islands SSEC Church will be having their election for a new Bishop at the of October. We are praying for the successful candidate that they will be able to get things running smoothly as soon as passable. We are also praying for the Saura Bible College and the students that will be graduating at the end of November. I, John are not sure when we will be able to take a team to the Solomon's again, we are praying that God will make away clear for us to do that in 2021.
