24.01.2022 This is what an #ubi #RenewableEnergy printout looks like in #Euroa - we are liking the fact that we can now tell that our efforts mean we have effectively put... 34 cars off the road.. now we need to crank it up... ... sunny days the paradox of having more of them because of #climatechange is not lost on us... Imagine when we are using our power to charge our electric vehicles - #EVs.... #MondoEnergy #ShireOfStrathbogie #StrathbogieLife #cleanEnergy #RegionalDevelopment #Solar #cleanair #environment #totallyrenewableyackandandah #Tesla #NissanLEAF

23.01.2022 Just letting you all know this header has been furiously successful with more than 700 of you checking it out. #ShirleySaywell who owns and runs the logisti...cs business of Brady and Kibble in #Euroa with her business partner Phil Ellis had the idea of replacing one of the truck curtains with this great signage! #JanetFogarty did the design, #CharlieBrydon made some suggestions and Phil Ellis said ‘yay’ and hey presto we have some #renewableenergy signage going up and down the Hume Highway. Can’t complain about that #communityEnergy = when the rubber hits the road (and yes ... we do know we have to change our transport choices ... ). #MondoEnergy

21.01.2022 Thanks #BradMiller for setting me on high ! The #Euroa Timber Yard was my workplace for many years - so lovely to be welcomed back there!

21.01.2022 This makes me so happy! If council declares a climate emergency I believe it means that all future decisions need to make resulting climate change a prime cons...ideration. If this was the case when the application to remove these trees was considered we would not have to fight to save them now. Send an email to attend one of the consultation sessions or speak to your councillor. This one is too important to miss! Well done Reg. See more

Thank you #JanetFogarty you are wonderful. Thanks to those in the team who organised this. Also - just wanted to let people know that today in #BinneyStreet the team collected 134 signatures to our #petition in support of exploring the road under rail option. We will be around tomorrow at the #EuroaMusicFestival too so come up and have a chat. We have also shared stuff we are doing with people up the line in NSW who are having their own issues with the #ARTC processes. #DesignEuroa #HelenHaines #communityservice #CommunityCommitment #railwayphotography #GreenPrecincts #urbanheatisland #Design #RMIT #regional #regionalvictoria #regionalaustralia #regionalplanning #VicRoads #VicTrack #JaclynSymes

12.01.2022 Rooftop solar is booming, but it's still out of reach for a large number of Australians. If you're among the one third of Australians renting, or if you live in an apartment, panels may seem impossible. But there are programs trying to change that.

11.01.2022 It’s been a big week - but we’re determined to keep bringing you the latest on climate! Here are some of this week’s highlights: Car companies are acceleratin...g ahead with electric vehicles! Jaguar has announced it will be fully electric by 2025, and has outlined a plan to phase out internal combustion engines. Ford also announced this week that all its cars sold in Europe will be electric by 2030. WA Labor took a fantastic step towards building a clean economy, announcing a plan that will create hundreds of jobs, reduce emissions and boost regional economies. Western Australia can be at the forefront of the energy transition by embracing its comparative advantage in renewable energy resources - Climate Council CEO, Amanda McKenzie. An Australian seaweed project, inspired by a discussion with Chief Climate Councillor Tim Flannery, has received $1 million from the Federal Government. Sea Forest is producing a seaweed-based additive for cattle feed, which can cut a cow’s greenhouse gas by more than 80%! That’s a wrap.
