22.01.2022 Been asked a few times so here it is ..... my sprout recipe .... seeds available from your local supermarket and any good pet supply. Triticale, barley, and wheat (these seeds are sweet when sprouted) mung beans, lentils, and Dunn peas (these seeds are earthy and nutty)... Soak for 8-12 hours. Drain and cover with tea towel. Rinse daily until a little shoot is visible. Should only take 2-3 days in summer, a little longer in the cooler months. Served with a helping of fruit and/or veg ‘chop’ along with a side of nuts/seeds/pellets makes for a balanced and healthy diet, and a happy healthy feathered friend

12.01.2022 Kakariki parrots, gorgeous girls looking for their own human to entertain. Hand-raised and very friendly. Not noisy, as far as parrots go. Extremely easy to teach as they absolutely love, love, love food. You will need a restricted avian license to keep one of these beauties. Asking just $160 each
