24.01.2022 We're all in this together and the next 6 days will be hard for some of us, but then we have local legends like this who will ease our lockdown boredom with some fine tunes in an acoustic live Sunday session. Stay safe everyone.
22.01.2022 For those on our page who are involved in the live music industry, come along to an info session Monday night at The Riddoch Arts & Cultural Centre regarding the Umbrella Festival. RSVP to Joel at Music SA to attend. #livemusic #festival
22.01.2022 The Mount Gambier Library switched up all of their programming during Fringe to a magical woodlands theme. Doesn't this look fun!?
22.01.2022 Did you know, that part of our FringeOUT program this year involved an outreach component where we took Fringe acts into Aged Care Facilities, including The Oaks, St Mary's, Resthaven and Boandik. The residents were treated to poets, HYPE dance performers, Alison Newman - Vocalist and of course, Mr Snot Bottom (pictured below at The Oaks). Thanks to our Community Development Manager, Tammy Flier, for coordinating this. It was great to see this occurring behind the scenes, to make sure that Optus presents Fringe Mount Gambier was accessible to as many people as possible.
20.01.2022 Its our final night of lockdown but don't let that stop you from travelling to the Sydney Opera House for the finals of Dance Rite, a celebration of indigenous dance. Catch the livestream here: https://www.sydneyoperahouse.com//festiva/dance-rites.html
19.01.2022 COMING IN 2021 #FRINGEMOUNTGAMBIER
17.01.2022 Local duo Strings Attached will also be banging out some tunes this evening at 5pm, so if your internet connection stays on during this storm, then spend some time with these amazing gals. #touchwood #pleaseinternetstayon #idoloveagoodstormthough *Ironically my internet went down as I went to publish this post.... so apologies if this posts multiple times in my attempts to get it online.

12.01.2022 Happy Hump Day! We're still reliving amazing memories from the festival and hope you are too. Here's a great one for this morning, with our local Bellydancing troupe performing in the Cave Garden/Thugi. https://youtu.be/RthnBgppSSQ
11.01.2022 Nice spot of rain we're having today. If you're spending the day in contemplation, then consider this. Community events wouldn't happen without the generosity of our local businesses. Here's another legendary supporter to add to the list: the fine folk at Raymond Scott Transport #yesfringe #fringemountgambier #fringe5290
