20.01.2022 Friday morning and its already been our biggest week since late March. We are so stoked to see all the familiar faces return to the city and cant thank you enough for allowing us to do what we do.
19.01.2022 Weve fortunately found what looks to be a wedding band last Thursday and are hoping to locate the owner. If any frequenters to the shop have lost a ring or know of someone losing a ring, please come see us in store and hopefully your description matches.
18.01.2022 At the beginning of the year we swapped out our tips for a bushfire donation fund specifically for this lands devastated wildlife. With your help we were able to raise $600! With such an overwhelming response from our customers and also the whole of Australia we wanted to make sure our donation went to the best possible location. Thats why we chose @portmacquariekoalahospital the worlds first rehabilitation facility dedicated to the care and preservation of wild koalas. Theyre responsible for setting up 140 drinking stations across NSW, Victoria and our own backyard of Queensland. They are also in the planning phase for three breeding sites to help ensure the survival of our lands wild koala population. Definitely give them a follow because continued support for our koala friends is so important. @ Frisky Goat Espresso
18.01.2022 With some much needed optimism floating about, we will be opening in the morning a touch earlier at 6.30. We will still remain a takeaway business for now but are more than happy to accept your reusable cups (yay!), cabinet treats will also be back. Big shoutout to each and everyone thats walked through our door as always. See you next week!
17.01.2022 Wednesdays pumping. Weve got some amazing Boji Ethiopian available as batch from @lightcoffeeco and an assortment of feature espressos available. As always @beancraft.coffee tasting great black or white. . . . @phloem__
16.01.2022 We are well and truly back into the swing of it. @reubenhills has hit the shelf and their washed Ethiopian from the Dimtu Tero Farm is on the batch. Expect red berries, lavender and lemonade. Come say hello if you havent already this year.
15.01.2022 COVID-19 Update: Firstly we want to thank the amazing customers still trickling through in this tense period, as always we very much appreciate the support. We also want to let you know that we are being hyper-vigilant in sanitising whenever possible throughout our service but urge customers to use card over cash and to keep hold of reusable cup lids. Were also looking at ways we can provide goods additional to our supply of beans & alternative milks, so if youre in need please come forward and we can see what we can do. We hope you all enjoy a safe weekend and well see you next week!
15.01.2022 If you arent aware yet, we are now stocking a bunch of delicious retail for you to take home for your own coffee adventures. At the moment we have plenty of @beancraft.coffee on the shelf along with friends @reubenhills & @marvellstreet whose Nicaraguan we are featuring in espresso form. Its fruit and its nougat at the same time.
14.01.2022 Nothing says winter more than the humble porridge. Weve got plenty of these super easy to prepare porridge cups from our friends @brkfst_. Pair with some of our batch brew and youll be warm and cosy in no time. Pouring a delicious Kenyan from @lightcoffeeco this week. . . . @phloem__
12.01.2022 Friday morning and it’s already been our biggest week since late March. We are so stoked to see all the familiar faces return to the city and can’t thank you enough for allowing us to do what we do.
10.01.2022 Late week shout out to this man. Frisky Goat Espresso in human form. Leo yearns for a tasty coffee first thing in the morning but most importantly, his plunge into the coffee scene all those years ago has lead to the Frisky Goat Espresso that we currently know. You can catch him in store most days but make sure to tell him to bring the cap hoodie combo back.
07.01.2022 In case you havent noticed we proudly stock @solcups and have a bunch of 8oz cups available on our shelf. If youre a @skipapp user you can also bring in your own cups by selecting the Bring Your Own Cup button.
07.01.2022 Starting this week we will be closing the shop slightly earlier at 3 pm in the afternoons until the hotel that houses our little shop reopens for business. In more exciting news, well be offering manual pour over brews after midday every day. Definitely get around it.
07.01.2022 A few weeks ago now we had the pleasure of hosting Christian from @marketlane for a cupping and chat about all things Kenyan coffee from the current state of the region to the individual stories behind each of the 6 coffees we cupped. Massive thanks goes out to the @marketlane team for taking the time to visit us on a Saturday afternoon all the way from Melbourne. @ Frisky Goat Espresso
04.01.2022 Were still here! Overnight weve had to make a couple of changes so we are now takeaway only but we have plenty of brews to give out along with food and retail. We have some minor space restrictions, we are not accepting loyalty cards or reusable cups (which breaks our collective heart) but other than that its business as usual. Enjoy your Monday and stay safe!
03.01.2022 Were all in the same boat here so come get your Monday pick me up. We have an amazing washed Ethiopian Konga from @single_o featuring in espresso form this week.
03.01.2022 Head over at lunch time and youll find our current food special. Mango, spinach, quinoa, walnuts, chilli, basil, zucchini, eggplant & capsicum in salad form.
02.01.2022 Our friends @marketlane are in town and are giving us the opportunity to cup some beautiful Kenyan coffee with them this Saturday (3rd August). The session will start at 3pm and wed love for our customers and friends to join us. There is an event link in our instagram bio for more details along with an option to contribute a very small amount to the Santa Clara Scholarship Fund in Guatemala providing education and support to the children in the local community. Hope to see you there. @ Frisky Goat Espresso
