We've been so close for so long that slowly watching him grow from a 17year old pretty boy into the beastly freak he is now I some times forget just how far he's come, just how much he's changed and just how much we've been through together. 16.01.2022 A couple of observations from the polls I did overnight. 1. The people who selected the same option for more fun & harder to learn seem to be those who have achieved the most success in the sport. 2. Age and level of athleticism highly impacted choice 3. Injury causation seemed to be more directly related to the "style" of the grappler rather than the art itself. Such as those who roll at a certain pace outside of their normal pace seem to equate that to injuries causation.... 4. Genuinely surprised by the amount of "mma" guys who preferred to roll Gi, found nogi harder to learn but are predominantly strikers in mma. Im curious if this was because all their nogi has been done mma related involving strikes and making them uncomfortable or are they troll answers? Honestly really enjoyed the insights and messages ingot from these polls. Any thoughts or opinions drop them innthe comments. #friskystyle

13.01.2022 Spending some time alone to find some calm amongst the chaos of life and clear my head made me feel pretty metaphorical today. As I sit and watch the waves crash and the wind blow im reminded just how much beauty is within chaos. For the tree blown over and snapped in the wind it's utter chaos, but for the observer the tree waving side to side in the wind is beautiful. The loud roar of waves crashes onto the shore, completely changing the face of the land is truly chaos even ...hearing the sound resembles explosions, yet the way water moves is so beautiful.
