20.01.2022 We welcomed members of Queensland Fire and Emergency Services - QFES and three Army Bushmaster vehicles when they dropped into Station 412 this morning. They we...re all part of Stand Tall For PTS’ convoy to raise awareness for people suffering from Post Traumatic Stress. We supplied them with croissants, tea and coffee. They are on the way to Bathurst after staying at Dubbo.

20.01.2022 Members of the Orange Fire & Rescue team could be found at Orange City Council's works depot today practising their skills. The crew was using new hydraulic eq...uipment which has greater cutting power when it comes to removing the roof of a car or taking away the side panel of a car to release a trapped road accident victim. At a crash site, the crew work with NSW Ambulance paramedics and NSW Police to release trapped people in a controlled manner aimed at preventing further injury. Orange City Council is pleased to make available abandoned cars so that crews can update their skills. See more
