21.01.2022 Our station was awarded "The Government of New South Wales Community service Award" for it's involvement in the 2019/2020 Bush fires. (Presented by David Mehan MP) It was a great honour for the members of not just Wyoming station and Metropolitan North 2, but for ALL Fire and Rescue members across the state. https://fb.watch/21EqVzItSi/

20.01.2022 Today marks RU OK Day as well as World Suicide Prevention Day. As firefighters, we face real-life challenges that can have devastating and long-lasting effects on our mental health if we don’t get the right support. We’ve also sadly lost firefighters due to suicide. ... Help is available !! This RU OK Day I encourage you to have a conversation with someone.

18.01.2022 This morning we received a call to an accident where a heavy rigid truck had rolled onto it's side in Narara. The driver (slightly shaken with possibly minor injuries), was assessed by the ambulance on scene and then taken to Gosford hospital for further observations. Police are currently investigating the possible cause and clean-up of the scene will commence shortly. Ausgrid have advised that there will be some power disruptions whilst repairs are carried out due to damage to the power pole affected by the accident.

18.01.2022 From all the crew at Wyoming 509, we want to wish you all a safe and merry Christmas. If you are driving at any stage, do so with care.

09.01.2022 To All the men and woman who served, we thank you for your service!

04.01.2022 This afternoon at approx 4:30pm, Wyoming 509 responded to a single vehicle accident. En-route, an updated message advised that a water cartage truck had rolled over. It was also reported that nobody was trapped inside. When we arrived, a bystander was attending to the driver, who was just conscious. Ambulance and police arrived soon after. The driver was taken to hospital for treatment/observation whilst we waited for RMS investigators to determine the cause. The truck was e...ventually righted, and removed from the scene. We wish the driver a speedy recovery. See more
