21.01.2022 Congratulations to 6242 Senior Firefighter Jim Aisbett who is working his last shift as a firefighter today. Today sees the end of a 36 year career, after Jim started with New South Wales Fire Brigades back in 1985. Colleagues from a number of local stations in the Metropolitan West 1 Command came together to wish Jim all the best over a BBQ lunch at Huntingwood Fire Station. Jim also received a second clasp to the National Medal representing 35 years of service to the community and people of NSW. Representatives of the FBEU Sydney Outer West Sub-Branch also attended to thank Jim for his membership, commitment and service. We wish Jim all the best for a long, happy and healthy retirement.
