23.01.2022 Hay is baled and samples are on their way to the US for sugar testing.

22.01.2022 this is why I'm so happy to have the opportunity to grow Frog bog hay for my horse and others.

22.01.2022 feed results are in (click on the link for the pdf)! Its an ultra low sugar hay this year (WSC + starch under 10%) - so it is good for the metabolically challenged (but they might not like it... sorry to all the ponies out there). Its actually the lowest we've had, possibly because of the rain it saw, making it pre-soaked? But I had a mold and yeast test done too and that comes out as low. Anyway, the 2019 hay is being eaten by its testers so that is all good! I'll do a proper post on teh results soon. https://drive.google.com/open

21.01.2022 sold out till late 2019. Many thanks for your support!

20.01.2022 hi all, the 2019/2020 hay is all sold. Wishing you all the best and hope you are keeping well.

18.01.2022 *** sold pending payment/delivery *** clearing the shed for this year's hay - I have three 4' bales if anyone is interested. These have been under cover since baling last December. $90 delivered within 40 km of Youngs Siding, or $160 two, delivered.

15.01.2022 Hi all, picked up the fertiliser from Australian Mineral Fertilisers today, and our lovely neighbor should be able to get his 4wd tractor over the bog next week to help the growing bit started. If you want Frog Bog hay this year it might be worth letting me know now because the expressions of interest are already close to what we hope to bale. I have a list!

13.01.2022 Soda pops testing out this year's frog bog hay,

09.01.2022 ** sorry but pre-orders are now close to capacity, I'll update if anyone drops out **. The grass is growing! With the weird rainfall pattern some grasses are thigh high and seeding already and others not really getting going yet, but the fertiliser is on so we'll see what happens. In other news we can do small bales this year in packs of 21 or by the bale. I'm getting my list together, so please let me know if you want hay this year, how much you want, and if you want the 4' bales or the packs. Looking mostly for big orders so we can keep the shed empty for house-building straw.

09.01.2022 Syd shows Poli how it is done

06.01.2022 Hay is growing! Still got a bit to go, but it's looking good after a lovely wet winter, so I'm expecting to cut early to mid December, is still quite wet out there!

06.01.2022 yay the hay is finally cut - it got off to a slow start after a late winter, but its put on a heap in the last two weeks and the wonderful Steve cut it today. Hay soon! And fingers crossed for no rain till its baled..

05.01.2022 Grass still growing. Early testers approve.

04.01.2022 Finally! We have some lovely hay. It saw a bit of rain at the weekend after cutting and before baling but Steve had put the tedder through it a couple of times and raked it and reckons it's good hay. If you want some please let me know, pm, text, call or message the page! Cheers Katy

03.01.2022 Here are some photos of Pudding, my horse, first while I was in denial that his diet wasn't suiting him, then post-laminitis, on a track system and eating Frog Bog hay plus hard feed. Dates and comments on changes to lifestyle and diet are on the photos..

02.01.2022 I couldn't decide which picture of handsome George to use since he is just so good looking and ridiculously photogenic, so here are four. George is a very springy welsh cob and has given this year's Frog Bog Hay his approval.. thanks for the photos Liam and Alexandra Stevens!
