03.01.2022 It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that Frogs Touch wishes to advise all current and past members that the club has lost a truly great supporter and past president Charles Simpson. Charles passed away yesterday and all our thoughts and prayers are with his family. Charles was a huge supporter of the club and took on the role of President which he was proud to do. He took on the role with enthusiasm and loved being in the thick of things, making decisions and ensur...ing the club thrived under his leadership. Charles helped lay the foundations to ensure the club was in a strong place for the future. During his time at the helm the club was very successful both on and off the field. Charles was a huge part of the Mens 1 team with his son Chemo (Robert) playing in the side. The Mens 1 team was very successful under Charles’ presidency with Charles managing and supporting the team both vocally and socially. Charles was, and is, a great person to have in your team and on your side. His loyalty to the club knew no bounds and he was always great fun to be around. Our thoughts go out to the Simpson family and in particular to Chemo. The club is very sorry for your family’s loss and the club is truly grateful that Charles remains an integral part of the club. There will be memories shared by the club this week and a club gathering to honour Charles details to follow. Also, all teams are asked to wear black armbands as a mark of respect and there will be a minute’s silence before the start of the 6.00pm games could all players and supporters please gather around Field 2 before Mens 1 take to the field If you have any photos that you would like to share please send through and they will be added to the photo gallery. You can send them through to 0427 142 782 or email [email protected] Thank you Wade Inman President

01.01.2022 Are you planning on watching your kids play touch footy this season? Here's some really important information that you MUST know before you arrive: Specta...tors must remain at least five (5) away from all fields, at all times. Spectators will not be allowed to sit at any "inside" fields (refer to the included field layouts - all red areas are off-limits) and must watch from a safe distance (the blue areas) only. Friday 5pm and 5:45pm (7-10's age groups) matches may only have ONE spectator (parent/guardian) per child (who is playing in the current timeslot). Matches from 6:40pm onwards on Friday, and all matches on Thursday, may have a MAXIMUM of two spectators per player child. ALL SPECTATORS MUST CHECK IN via www.tjt.org.au/checkin (or the QR Codes at the grounds) for EVERY MATCH they watch. You must maintain social distancing (1.5m). If you don't feel you are able to adhere to these guidelines, you are welcome to watch from your car instead.
