In response to questions that have been asked...I am still unaware of how we will be coming out of stage 4 lockdown. I believe that we should know more this coming weekend. Once there is a plan then we can go ahead and start booking appointments. This will avoid booking, cancelling and rebooking. I am still able to provide you with your colour for you to take home and apply (or have so...meone else apply). This is all done through driveway collection and either cash or bank transfer. This will also avoid the landslide of customers that will all be wanting appointments as soon as I am back up and running. As you are aware it is physically impossible for me to do everyone's hair at the same time. To sum up: - Please avoid making appointments at the moment. - Please take advantage of the take home colour opportunity as I can only provide this service while we are in stage 4 lockdown. 25.01.2022 According to the following information hairdressers are still open and able to work. For me this means that I cannot take any new clientele and I am open for existing clientele only. If you are in a high risk category then please stay home. If you have any symptoms at all then also please stay home. If your appointment is not necessary and you can put it off until later then please look at doing this. We have to stick together and nip this virus in the butt and if it means having longer hair, a few grey hairs showing or me going without some work then that’s what it has to be. 22.01.2022 Hi All. As of Monday 23rd of November the salon will reopen for business. The majority of clients have already booked in appointments leading up to Christmas. My last day for 2020 is December 24th and my first day of reopening in 2021 is Wednesday 13th January. 18.01.2022 Hello everyone. A happy New Year to you and all of your loved ones. Hoping it will be fantastic for all of us. Implementing a couple of changes this year.... 1. Adult trims will now be from $25, school-aged children trims will be from $20 and toddler trims will be from $15. 2. I will mainly be open from Monday to Thursday with the last appointment time for trims at 5 pm and last appointment time for colours at 4 pm. For current clientele that do not fit into these timeslots please PM me and we can work something out. 3. 16.01.2022 After reading, researching, reclarifying, reading fine print and going on multiple websites it seems that I cannot reopen yet. It is because my salon is inside my house. If it was completely seperate then that would be ok. So, moving forward I will not be opening on Monday 19th. Hopefully there will be better news very soon or changes may be made. #staysafe

Whether you need some advice in regards to your hair, booking in an appointment post lockdown, getting me to mix up a colour for you and you can safely pick it up from outside or if you just need to have a chat because you’re feeling down. 16.01.2022 Hello everyone. I have had definitive clarification this morning that I am not able to open. There has been an update to the guidelines so that it is clearer and I have also spoken to someone this morning. Any business of any kind within the home is not allowed to open, including hairdressers and beauty services. (There must be a completely separate entrance.)... Very sorry that you all had your hopes up but right from the start, in my case, I knew it was going to be a grey area. I had already heard the rumours but was hoping that Dan would have made it clearer on Sunday, unfortunately it was just all a little more confusing LOL. The upside (and there is always an upside) my salon will be incredibly COVID-19 safe once I can open. Please be aware that I do feel your pain but we will all get through this, even though I am a hairdresser, it is only hair. Our health, both physical and mental, is so much more important to each and everyone of us. Look after yourself and your family. Stick together and the end is near. I am still open and working, however, due to the fact that I am not as busy as normal I am attempting to keep the majority of my appointments to the same days and not too spread out over the week. Also a lot of you have commented that my advertising sign is not out. This is because I am wanting to stick to my current clientele only during the Covid-19 pandemic. I have been in contact with some clients and I’m doing my best to get in touch with us many as I can. If you would like to contact me through text or messenger then please do so. Please provide your available days and times as well as the service that you would like done; e.g., colour, trim, f...oils, restyle, blow wave, straighten, etc. Please provide as much information as you can so that we try to avoid going to and fro with messages. As it stands I am still unable to start work until October 26th. But you never know, things may change. I have had a lot of clients book their appointments from October 26th forward. While this is completely fine please be aware that if the opening date changes then you may want to change your appointment.... For all of my current clientele I am still able to premix your colours for you and send home in a pack with everything that you need to apply. If you can do this it will really help stagger appointments when I reopen as I am incapable of doing everyone at the same time. 11.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE Good morning everyone. Rules and regulations are starting to ease up in regards to where we may go and how many people we may see. However, there are rules that I am still required to follow in regards to my hairdressing business that have not changed. ME If I have a sore throat, cold or any flu like symptoms I cannot work. Any surfaces that my clients may touch (this includes doorhandles and doorbell) must be cleaned after each and every client. ... I must wash hands regularly with soap and water and/or use hand sanitiser. I also have a Square so that both credit card and eftpos transactions may be used. This incurs an extra 2% charge as this is what the bank charges me. Cash maybe used as well. CLIENT If you have a sore throat, cold or any flu like symptoms then please reschedule your appointment to a later date when you are symptom free. I have only ever done one client at a time. This will remain the same. Any family members that are not having their hair done will need to remain at home. There is hand sanitiser for your use. I have not heard anything yet and until I do I will NOT be making any bookings. Due to all the rumours (today)...I have been double handling everything. Please DO NOT try to book an appointment yet as you do not want to come back to a cranky hairdresser.... I will be getting in touch with clients who already have appointments (for reopening date of 26/10/2020) and rebooking those first (IF things change). Appointments will also have to spread out further due to cleaning involved between each client.
