19.01.2022 What better way to kick start your morning, than with a bit of yoga . All of the little ones here loved our fun, new morning activity.

16.01.2022 Can't wait to see the children's faces when they see the new reading corner . I wonder how many hours we'll spend here....

16.01.2022 We had an amazing excursion this week, we visited Werribee Park. We explored trees, leaves, pine cones, many birds, a lake full of life and even some history with the grotto and Mansion before a picnic and a sniff in the rose garden. The children had a blast and so did the adults

14.01.2022 Sometimes, it's the end of a busy week and we all need a refill. This gave me a little reminder this morning to have a few more cuddles and a few less fights - Mumma, let him wear the odd socks

11.01.2022 It's looking alot like Christmas here! Our little ones have been loving getting their hands on this felt tree - decorate it over and over kiddies, this one can't fall over

08.01.2022 Tomorrow marks the start of Chinese New Year 2019 and it's the year of the pig. We don't need an excuse to celebrate but we're set for some fun cultural learning here. The children will be learning about the celebrations that go on around Chinese New Year. We'll look at some language, find out about and try some Chinese food and can you guess what fiery creature we'll be making our very own version of

08.01.2022 Say hello to the letter S - it's a Super day to start learning S! We've been exploring our 'S' box and practising how to say all the s things inside. Colouring and a playdough exercise - Sensational!

08.01.2022 We learnt about Anzac Day and what it means this week. The children enjoyed completing their poppy and rosemary pictures after we discussed their significance and we heard the sound of The Last Post from a school nearby at 11am. Everyone was stopped in their tracks as they asked what that sound was? This gave us another opportunity to discuss just how important today is, and how we must remember it's the reason Australia is so amazing to us

07.01.2022 Christmas playdough was the favourite activity today! Chocolate and Gingerbread cookie playdough - they smell good enough to eat! Only 5 sleeps

07.01.2022 This week we started learning a little about our Aboriginal history. We started with how to say Welcome and looking at some symbols used in artwork. We then tried recreating these symbols in our homemade playdough. It's great to see the children learn about a new culture and we'll be learning more as the month goes on. Wominjeka everyone!

05.01.2022 Take a look how our Chinese New Year celebrations went

04.01.2022 Shadows! So much fun with shadows! The little ones loved exploring shadows and shapes this week, we started using just our hands, then some toys which followed through to tracing the animal shapes onto paper and a great big colouring at the end. Also yes, we're all wearing PJs for a fun dress up this week - turns out the rain and cold made it perfect weather staying in your PJs all day

03.01.2022 Autumn has arrived and what better way to talk about the changing season than a fresh batch of playdough and some hand picked leaves and bark

03.01.2022 All aboard the numbers train, we were practising counting and recognising numbers today! The children counted over and over and they all completed the task perfectly! Well done little ones 123456789

02.01.2022 It was an EXCELLENT week to learn E! We practiced lots of words with the 'e' sounds followed by tracing with our fingers and pencils then some more fine motor skills with chopsticks and rice. Simple activities but lots of fun!
