24.01.2022 For the last 3 months I’ve been working with a primary health network as the Comms Lead on their COVID Response Unit. There was a lot to do to triage the waves of information and to communicate strategically and with respect and empathy in ways that would build health literacy in the community and clinical capacity in the network. Amongst many other tasks, I’m proud to have spoken with a wide range of community members and practitioners to give space for them to share their knowledge and experiences. 18.01.2022 Travelling home today from EMPA US 2019. I loved facilitating two scenario workshops and speaking on principles and beliefs and how they change the work we do. It was a privilege to meet emergency managers and communicators from the region and to share challenges and intentions and discuss ways forward.

18.01.2022 Travelling back to NSW to work with Councils to help them build the capacity to communicate during emergency. There is a lot to do in the new disaster reality in this country. Im glad to be part of that. Stay safe

11.01.2022 Off to EMPA US! To present and run a workshop each day! Excited and very interested to learn more about Emergency Communication in this part of the US and to share insights and help them build capacity!
