19.01.2022 Golden Croker Fishing has been off the charts

19.01.2022 Well as you may have heard the NT has relaxed some internal restrictions from today. It’s a big help but the borders are still closed so we can only go fishing with each other so far. We are really hopeful that domestic travel restrictions may ease by July/Aug so that we can get back to work. I know many of you don’t think what we do is really work and sometimes we don’t either but we do miss it and cant wait to get back on the water. As soon as we get a start date I will sort out a revised schedule for the coming months, I am planning to add in some new trip dates and run extra trips where they suit everyone.

17.01.2022 Swordfish crew don’t often get time to fish but they made the most of it last trip to Sampan. A 100 for Penny and a 121 Sean. Cracker fish. Thanks to Colin from Reidys for the lures.

15.01.2022 Like everyone I suppose we are all going a little stir crazy although living on a ship does have its advantages. .there is always something that needs doing and we are catching up on plenty of the little jobs that we never seem to have time to get to. For the moment we do not have any clear idea of when we will get back out to sea. Domestically Australia is still in lock-down, many of the river systems we normally fish are now completely closed and social distancing makes f...ishing a little difficult. The 2 key things that need to happen so that I can get our postponed trips rescheduled and get the rest of our year back on track are the lifting of domestic travel restrictions and the removal of social distancing regulations. From the moment I know when the Northern Territory boarders are going to reopen, and we can go back out on the water I will start getting all the trips that have been postponed rescheduled. I will be in touch with everyone who has missed a trip and we will start working on an alternative that suits you. In the meantime thank you to all our guests who have sent messages of support, we are in good shape and will be ready to go as soon as we are allowed.

01.01.2022 Another amazing week on board our favourite Mothership, Swordfish with great friends Blane Simmons, Penny and Sean Collins, exploring the remote coast line west... of Darwin. Stunning scenery, beautiful white sandy beaches, mangrove lined estuaries and reefs loaded with so many species of fish. Dining on delicious mud crabs and freshly caught Barra and others washed down with ice chilled coronas watching the northern sun sets is stunning to say the least. We feel so very, very lucky and especially privileged to be able to enjoy such lovely times in the midst of this horrible pandemic. Wishing all our friends could be here with us but we are thinking of you all. LTFD See more
