25.01.2022 Hope everyone has had a great day and your all nice and full! Enjoy the holiday period.. whether its trips to the beach or sat watching the rain back in the UK! Thanks for everyones support so far this year. Not long until we are setting new goals for 2017!



25.01.2022 Final testing pre comp. Amy hit a PB in squats at 107.5kg in just sleeves followed by a 62.5kg bench and 115kg deadlift. Amy has come such a long way since our first meeting where she had shown a slight interest in powerlifting to now where she is 10 days from her first powerlifting meet! Proud and exciting day for both of us!

Sarah smashing a 100kg yoke walk at the end of our strength and conditioning session.. Sorry you had to wait for your fame Sarah haha! Why yoke walk you ask?? The yoke walk is a strongman/women favourite its an amazing test of strength and endurance, builds amazing core strength (actually important) and simultaneously works nearly every muscle in ...your body!! 24.01.2022 Dan working through some unilateral strengthening exercises. Hanging dumbbell clean and press Using the double handed strong man technique to get the dumbbell up before single hand pressing. ... Quality upper body strengthening exercise. We have been working together using a lot of basic compound movements and resistance based conditions work. Heavy sleds and slam balls etc all to build up his strength and fitness which has improved massively over the past 3 months! Good effort dan, onto 2017!!



22.01.2022 Some of the Quinns FC boys working through some extra pre season training! Bit of conditioning work at the end of our lower body strength session. This is the third round and the fatigue setting in but still pushing past the I cant and it hurts The tyre had an extra 12kg inside it.. and to think vinny asked for it to be 20kg before he had even pulled it! Good work men, beers well deserved!!!

20.01.2022 Lady's that lift.. Rails has come sooo far in the 8 or 9 months we have worked together, never lifted weight spent an hour bouncing between cardio machines not getting any results.. We started working together on lifting weight and high intensity cardio something she has grown to love! Then came the knee realignment surgery something that halted any progress for a couple of months. We started back again working on rehab and knee stability training and mobility, here we are ...again.. finally lifting again! She works so hard, not only during our sessions and her own gym time but even away from the gym practicing small movements like the hinge or activating her core during planks etc.. she's a GEM!

20.01.2022 Not really been very active here in a while but here's one thing new, Iv finally registered for my first powerlifting meet, exactly 365 days post first knee surgery, this was my goal for post surgery and I'm on track to smash it. For those keen ill be lifting at PTC in Malaga 29th October

19.01.2022 Earlier this week Allie working through some incline Walking lunges post deadlifts where she hit a PB of 75kg for two! We have been working through strength and conditioning programs for 10 weeks now and her results have been insane. When I asked him what his usual warm up was it was 5 minute treadmill this is common in most people i speak to, no real preparation for what they are about to do. 16.01.2022 Successful surgery, only had to have the ACL reconstructed as the Medial Meniscus and MCL werent as bad as first feared! Also very little swelling which is always a good thing.. slow painful road to recovery now! #fit #fitness #perthfitfam

14.01.2022 The big man caillum working through some deficit deadlifts, to improve the initial pull from the floor, most peoples sticking point with a deadlift. We worked on lighter weights higher reps tonight as he is currently on a low carb diet, not instructed by myself. Caillum has a background in bodybuilding, hes bloody huge too, but came to me to get assistance with deadlifts, we regressed massively got nice and light perfected his technique and now he can lift with ease and can lift big! (When not getting lean for Bali)

11.01.2022 More strong ladies! Beth and Beth pulling deadlifts, only managed to film B2 making 100kg look easy. No belt and No straps.. very keen to emphasise the importance of being able to grip the bar fully and push your body to its full limits before using assistance like lifting straps

10.01.2022 Awesome work tonight from Amy, we hit 95kg for a double for 5 sets on deadlifts then we got 57.5kg for a double for 4 sets on bench. Me and Amy have worked together for about 10 weeks now and her strength is phenomenal, shes only 17 and works incredibly hard. Amy is competing in a powerlifting competition in February and it will be her first time competing and my first time venturing into competition prep/coaching something Im enjoying a lot! ... Cant wait to see the damage she will do on the platform come February!

09.01.2022 Nearly a year has passed since being able to squat with weight on my back. I'm still a while away from full recovery but this was a massive achievement for myself.. I went through a warm up and perpetration of about 40 minutes yesterday to work up to these squats. Focusing a lot on mobility and activating my glutes.

09.01.2022 Awesome day today. Watching Amy start her journey in powerlifting, we have worked together for just over 3 months and she has come so far and its been so fun! Today she made everything look easy she hit PBs on all her lifts, and came second in her weight category in her first ever meet all at only 17 years old. She hit 110kg squat 65kg bench and a 120kg deadlift totalling 295kg at a body weight of 72kg. ... Sadly for me Amy will now be joining the athletes and coaches down at PTC, awesome for her though, she will quickly reach full potential surrounded by some of the best powerlifters in the country.

08.01.2022 Finally back to it today after two weeks of nuisance with my knee, which ended with a spot of surgery. I have one spot available for coaching at surge wanneroo for somebody who is keen to develop their strength and fitness. Also as of Friday Im back down coaching at TSF GYM Ill post times shortly!

08.01.2022 B1 + B2 getting strong together! Both Beths work with me once a week to boost their strength training, and both do insanely well! Here working on overhead split squats and a cheeky adaptation of bear crawls.. great for building a strong core! Be like these two.. get strong too!

06.01.2022 Taking Dan through some compound movements, this session we worked on perfecting his deadlift technique and barbell front squats. We had plates under his heels to help with his ankle mobility, helping him get depth without sacrificing neutral spine, we also had a medicine ball so he knew his depth. Coming a long really well dan well done mate!

05.01.2022 Can you believe there were negative comments about our last video of rails lifting.. So apparently we can only lose weight by doing hours of cardio per week.. And lifting weights makes women big and bulky This is a lie, people who believe this are wrong they are the same people who believe the world is flat.... Anyway more amazing achievements by rails 4x5 block pull deadlifts at 70kg we also managed a triple at 85kg!! Amazing effort mate. Lets show the Neanderthals how we do it!

05.01.2022 Been a while since Iv put any of my training/rehab up but here we go.. Completed Deadlifts 5x3 at 150kg followed by Blockpulls 3x2 at 170kg.. As well as a load of other rehab stuff but not that fun to see. The beard makes me stronger.

01.01.2022 Big Baz pulling 190kg for one, up until 3 weeks ago he avoided any form of hip hinge exercise due to lower back pain. Were still a little off a conventional deadlift with hips shooting up.. But this is an awesome progression from zero compound exercises to confidently pulling this!
