09.01.2022 Toolbox Tuesday Slips, Trips, and Falls are some of the most common causes of accidents in the workplace. More than 33,000 people are disabled every year from falling, while many more people receive other injuries like strains, sprains, and fractures. Do you know the difference ?... Environmental factors can include slippery surfaces following rain or spills, poorly designed or maintained walkways, poor lighting on stairs and walkways and trip hazards for example from poorly stored materials. There are measures you can take to ensure your safety starting from wearing the correct footwear and making sure you can see when you are going with a clear, hazard free path. #toolboxtuesday #frontlinehumanresources #safety #workplace #injuries #measures
