22.01.2022 The ECU/Art Partners 9x5" Art Auction is happening again this year. The boards are now ready for collection from The Bunbury Regional Art Galleries, Jacksons Drawing Supplies (Bunbury and Busselton) and from ArtGeo Busselton. This is a great event so please get involved. If you aren't the creative type, please come along to the auction Sept 19 at ECU - you may collect a famous artist's work for a bargain!

22.01.2022 Did you know that you can do an arts degree right here in the South West? ECU's Bachelor of Arts course provides learning in the areas of Visual Arts, Literature and writing, and Media. This course is great for emerging artists and writers as it provides a means for students to network with leaders in the arts. If you work hard and meet the right entry requirements, there are also opportunities to further your learning with arts research. Enquire within to find out more.

16.01.2022 Front Room friends, it's been an inspiring few days in Kalgoorlie and we have some new and exciting plans for Front Room coming up!

13.01.2022 Thank you to all who browsed the panels on display at the Front Room. They have now been taken down and are on their way to the ECU Building 03 foyer! A whopping 80 artworks have been returned to ECU with more to come! It's going to be an epic auction! Make sure you attend the auction on September 19 @ 12pm and pop into ECU beforehand to see the works up close. 19 works are currently on display and more will be hung soon :)

09.01.2022 Hello Artists. If you are entering the ECU & Art Partner's 9x5" Art Auction and would like your work to be shown on the Front Room Facebook page then send us a picture with the title and medium. Works that are returned early will be exhibited on the BRAG wall for one week in August and for three weeks at ECU prior to the auction, however, if you want your work to have a bit more exposure to increase your chances of extra bids then let us know... Happy creating!

08.01.2022 Hello Artists. The due date for the 9x5 boards was last Friday, however, if you can get undelivered boards to BRAG or ECU by Tuesday, they will still accept it for exhibition at ECU. If you're not worried about showing your piece, feel free to keep working on it until the 17th of Sept. The ones we have received early are on show now in the Front Room.

08.01.2022 We have some exceptional prints on display in Front Room Gallery at the moment. These prints were created by ECU students during a workshop with Cuban artists Janette Brossard and Norberto Marrero whose work can also be seen at BRAG in the exhibition The Cuban Connection until 24 Aug.

05.01.2022 It was great to check out Bunbury's latest gallery - Dipikshens, a lot of familiar Front Room artists' work is on display.

03.01.2022 Word on the street is that artists are brainstorming creative ideas for the annual 9x5 art auction! We anticipate the auction, held at ECU's Open Day on Sunday, August 23, will be even bigger and better than last year. ...But first, we must create. This year, ECU are hosting not one, but two workshops facilitated by local and renowned artist, Helen Seiver. If you would like some free tips from Helen, to learn some new techniques that you can apply to your 9x5 board, or if you... just want to be around other creative enthusiasts while you create, please express your interest in coming to a workshop by emailing Sarah at [email protected]. Further dates and details to come. If you are a South West artist, we encourage you to get on board and support this great cause, which aims to raise funds for the wonderful Art Partners Bunbury.
