14.01.2022 One aspect of entering the Australian Professional Photography Awards (APPA) is the emotional roller coaster as the image is judged and scored and awaiting with bated breath if the image resonates with the judges. At least its an honour when Peter Eastway scores it a solid silver This year brings a mix of emotions as three images fall short by only a few points, yet at least one brings home Silver...... #aippappa2019 #fujifilmaustralia #photographyawards #aipp

06.01.2022 Some images from the Wingello fire grounds.. The devastation is sad, the indiscriminate nature of fires randomly destroying one property while leaving another untouched.. The land may recover, however the scars by which our planet continues to sustain will remain.

05.01.2022 The power of the subconscious mind.. Yesterday (5th April2019) became a day of mixed emotions... awaking at 3am to accompany my sweetheart, Linda Fury to the airport, returning home l somehow was drawn to Mia, our King-Charles Spaniel, I composed an image without real thought to the powerful story that would later emerge. That evening just after 6pm, she walked up to my father struggling for breaths, and collapsed at his feet.. ... Unconsciously, for what ever reasons, I composed the image with one eye in frame, the very last image of her alive, the power of this image emerges. RIP Little Mia.. 5.4.2019

01.01.2022 Our South Australia Trip brings in Coffin Bay, South Australia, with beautiful sunsets and textures..
